ALL American Bank Qualifies for Federal Banking Program

The ALL American Bank in Des Plaines has qualified for the Department of the Treasury Financial Management Service’s Minority Bank Deposit Program. This certification gives the bank an opportunity to become a depository and financial agent for federal, state, and local government agencies in addition to the private sector that is interested in supporting minority-owned businesses.

"The bank now has the resources to seek out agency deposits of public money, cash advances to federal contractors and grantees, certain independent demand deposits, e.g., Postal Service deposits and certificates of deposit (CDs)," said ALL American Bank’s President, Victor Caputo. "We are very pleased and excited to acquire this designation for the good of our bank and our investors. We know that this will make the bank stronger and enable us to offer better products to all of our clients."

ALL American Bank has named Eliza C. Aleman branchmanger as the MBDP coordinator. Her position will allow the Bank and the MBDP to engage in timely communication.

Meet Eliza Aleman, ALL American Bank Branch Manager

Eliza Aleman has always felt comfortable working in the community bank setting. "I prefer a community bank over the large impersonal banks," she explained. "Our bank is special because we offer the personal touch with our customers. I like knowing each person that walks in here by name. You become part of their family. We talk about the special events in our lives regardless if the news is good or bad."

Little did she realize that when she took that part time job as a bank teller in high school that she would make banking a career. Now some 37 years later she is here to help you with your banking needs. In fact, Eliza personally handles many of the services that you'd expect to receive at a community bank. "I can even help set up a customer's direct deposit account to save them a trip to the Social Security Administration office."

Eliza and her husband Humberto live in Morton Grove and have raised two children in that community. As a member of the Morton Grove Women's Club, she volunteers her time and is also involved in her home town's July 4th and Memorial Day Celebrations.

When Eliza Aleman isn't working in her garden or cooking up a batchof Grandma's recipe of rice and black beans for large family gatherings, she can be found playing with her new grandson, six month old Aidan Cunningham.

"Please stop by the bank for a visit. I can't promise I'll have abowl of rice and beans, but I would love to meet you and help with your banking," Eliza said.
